who else hates robin scherbatsky

The actress is very pretty, but she has zero charisma and is basically the same in every role.

But honestly, OP if you couldn't foresee the end of the series and hated the character that much, why would you sit through 8 or so seasons of the show?

I'm not OP, but I've been watching the reruns on TVLand at 4:30 in the morning when I'm on the treadmill for an hour and a half and there's nothing much else on the gym's TV. It isn't as if it's necessary to watch every single episode to follow the series.

I loved that show beginning to end. The writing was phenomenal. The Robin character evolves over time. Like the others, she has her flaws. I liked the show but I wouldn't be friends with her. I'd be Patrice.

You get a lot more out of the ongoing jokes if you watch the episodes in order.

I'm just really watching HIMYM for the first time and don't love Robin, either. I'm certainly glad I didn't watch that show for years with anticipation about who Ted ends up with him just to find out it all ends up being about Robin.

But the mother is not Robin.

Since you didn't see the last episode, Ted winds up with Robin after The Mother dies.

The show really was about Robin. It starts on the day Ted met her. She is the one he is obsessed with. It is all mislead.

I thought robin was gorgeous at the start of the show, but somewhere along the way they have bee this bizarre haircut as if they were trying to make her less "hot"

I'm PP who watches at 4:30 am-the shows are shown in order, and although I don't catch all of them, its enough to get the ongoing jokes.

I was and still am a huge fan of the show, even with the disappointing ending. I liked Robin just as much as the other characters, but especially her flashbacks as Robin Sparkles.

Yep. I like Robin too. I do think we got the whole last season about the mother which was nice, but it was clearly heading towards Robin all along. They had even filmed the scenes with the kids years before. So like it or not, it was always in the plans.

However, cristin milioti was so amazing it was hard not to be like oh my God she should have been there forever and ever and ever

She also dropped some weight after the first season -- totally obvious in arms and face especially. Not that she was big. She was actually a normal-sized person.

I assumed she was pregnant in real life and then later she lost the baby weight.

She was good in that role. They were all good. I think that's why the show lasted so long. I watched all except the laser two seasons.

I stopped watching before it ended, am glad to know how it finally resolved.
