HRC is above the law on small issues too

HRC wanted the job to finish by Thanksgiving no matter what.

An honest, law-abiding contractor will follow the law and pull the required permits, regardless of what the customer wants. If the customer demanded that the contractor break the law, he could have declined the project. But we're apparently not dealing with an honest and law-abiding contractor (since he didn't do these things), which inherently makes his efforts to deflect blame suspect.

Yeah
Let's blame everyone but the Clintons.

bc that's how you all roll

Yeah. Let's look at the options:

1) in the middle of a Presidential campaign, a couple that is more investigated and maligned by a segment of the government and media than just about anyone in history goes looking for a contractor who will do unpermitted work, just hoping that no one will find out from searching public records, or

2) the contractor elects not to pull the permits because it'll save him some money and some time.

I know which one I think is more likely.

If it's the latter, again a bad judgement on her to hire such contractor. But if you were a contractor for clinton, would you take the risk and go ahead without getting any permit?

+1. There is no way Hillary is in the weeds on permit pulling in the middle of a presidential campaign.

Actually, I think she is involved in the renovation..and here's why - she is barely campaigning. She has had many, many days off each month for many months now. She is working from home on those days. She does not work from her Brooklyn Headquarters.

So, it is Hillary and Bill and house manager Oscar hanging out at the house in Chappaqua a lot.

Even Huma works at the Brooklyn headquarters with the rest of the campaign staff.

Hillary's lackeys do all the grunt work - pick policy positions; write her speeches.

Honestly, I am not sure what if anything HRC is doing herself - so yeah, she is probably working on the renovation and picking out drapes.

And screaming at poor Bill for doing his own thing.

I don't know any reputable contractor would start work without permits.

They will only skip them under homeowner's pressure.
