One of my favorite MTV Unplugged performances was 10,000 Maniacs. I especially loved Stockton Gala Days.

Maybe not my favorite, but I heard this recently and really like it.

Acoustic songs off Led Zeppelins 3 record, hands down. It did the poorest of their releases because they departed from a heavier rock sound, but it's my favourite. Also Nirvana unplugged.
Both sound 'loose but tight' if you know what I mean. |

Any links for Led Zeppelin ? |
Awww Adam Ant. Thanks. I had this CD when it came out and this is a great acoustic. When did he turn into Captain Jack Sparrow? |
Hope I didn't mess these links up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKge6Ay9O4E Bron-Yr-Aur https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Phd48YT18vY That's the Way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IZ-jATBq9A Goin' to California https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYcQeAnUmNA Black Country Woman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jH1WVKol1g Hey Hey What Can I Do? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BokEvEqiVA Over the Hill and Far Away https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4kbm9C9_nQ Poor Tom (listen to the lyrics good story) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D026KiN8ifs&index=4&list=PLrsbQkjm7ZKDTXpJ4sGBT0yd4-L1m1081 Good Times Bad Times (keep listening through the churchy sounding intro; it's worth it) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-21AtiWV3TE Battle of Evermore (LOTR fans will dig this) I didn't include the bluesy ones like Squeeze my Lemon and Babe I'm Going to Leave You but if you like old sounding southern blues by Brits they have a lot of awesome ones, especially live. I wish my DH loved Zeppelin like I do, so I'm sharing the love here!!! |
| Anything by Willy Porter. |
| New Green Day, Ordinary World, is lovely. And Billie Joe's movie of same name also pretty great. |

Weird combo, I know. But the acoustic version of the Scanell/Vertical Horizon songs are amazing. OP here... does anyone know what time 94.7 does the acoustic show? I don't see it listed on their schedule for today.
