After positive beta, when did you schedule an appointment with your OB?

My RE released me to my OB at 11 weeks and I was scared to leave! But this was after a couple of years of infertility treatments.

My OB's office was incredibly cavalier about things, which didn't sit well with me - I missed the careful monitoring and personal attention I got in the RE's office.

Interesting to see how people had the same experience as me going to the OB early. I had no choice because I did my IVF out of country so I needed local monitoring. They treated me like I was temporarily pregnant and were cavalier about it too. My OB didn't even do my first ultrasound and referred me out to the radiology department for that. Well, turns out they were right. I had a chemical. Next cycle at least I am prepared for that type of reception.

I also cycled out of state and had to have my OB do the ultrasound at 6.5 weeks. It took some convincing to get them to do it. I showed them paperwork and told them I was taking hormones, and my dosage depended on whether or not there was a viable pregnancy.

I wish you the best of luck with your next cycle, and hope that it's easier for you to get your ultrasound. Cycling out of state/country is unfortunately unique to some providers.
