I bail. I prefer nonfiction and I really like most of Jon Krakauer's books but about 3/4 of the way through I just didn't care how Under the Banner of Heaven ended.

I never finished Devil in the White City either because I got bored.

I gave myself permission after more than a few super long and shitty reads. 50 pages in and I reassess.
