Do you like your job?

Yes I love my job.
I am a paralegal in Washington, DC (my only complaint is that I wish I worked closer to home in Montgomery County).

I like my job. I work in public policy research (but I am not an economist). Very family friendly field. I wouldn't say I love it, but it's interesting, intellectually stimulating, well-paying, and I don't have to take work home with me.

Do you work for a think tank, advocacy group, university?

I really like my job -- it's policy analysis on a hot issue at a place you've probably heard of. I'm an economist. I only wish they would let me telecommute, then I'd love it.

I'm a lawyer. I almost love my job. There's too much hatred for my unpredictable schedule for me to actually love it though.

Phew - I thought this was one of those "how can I work for the government 8 hours a week and get paid $400k (don't know why that's their favorite number) posts".

As you were....

19:48 here. I work for a public policy research firm. A non-partisan one.

I love my job. I am a web programmer turned web designer who consults to clients on their websites. I get paid around $110k.

I love my job because I work 24hrs a week, spread over 4 days and make 100k/yr. I'm essentially a partner manager, basically I manage b2b relationships between my company and a closely aligned partner. I can work wherever there is a phone and internet connection, which is mostly at home when I'm not visiting my client at their site.

I love it because I'm paid generously and I get to spend time with my children and afford quality care when I'm not around and private school, for the early years. I think they will have to cart me away from there dead before I quit.
