Clinton's move to put Cuban on the front row has already paid off. As can almost be guaranteed with Trump, he acts rashly without thinking. Attempting to shame via her husband's former mistress is hardly going to help Trump with woman voters. I don't think I can think of anything else that would actually create sympathy for Clinton. Moreover, it opens the floor to discussion of Trump's own affairs. If an affair by a candidate's husband is bad, then multiple affairs by a candidate must be worse, right?

I think this gives Clinton a "You're no Jack Kennedy" opportunity to say something along the lines of "affairs are terrible things. So, Mr. Trump, why did you not only have affairs during more than one marriage but brag about them?"

OP here. You are not a swing voter by any means. I am not sure we have any on this board. Maybe some young undecided who don't know who Gennifer Flowers is might be persuaded. But I agree that Trump shouldn't do it if his goal is trying to be presidential. It sure is fun to read his tweet on a Saturday though.

Not a chance that she is going to say anything on those lines. Bill C has too much baggage in this regard and Hillary does as an enabler. She won't even come close to allowing this to become a focal point of reviews of the debate in the days to follow.

In any event Fahrenkopf has said that Cuban will not have a front row seat and the last thing that Hillary wants is to have Flowers and other women involved with Bill to have any visibility during the debate.
