Dating : exclusive ?

Woman here. I split dates. I always wanted to feel free to cut my losses and walk away.
It worked for me and that's what I will tell my daughters to do as well.

I don't know, but if you look at other threads women do not expect to pay for a meal on a date. Welcome to the C21

Sort of. I think the idea is if it is the first few dates, yes many woman hope the guy pays ...but sometimes if they know it's not going to work out the woman may actually insist on splitting the check. At the same time, many, but not all, said inexpensive first dates like grabbing drinks or coffee is typical when you are meeting someone from online for the first time so it isn't like they are looking for a 5 course meal with wine - it's what maybe $10. There where a few woman that expected the guy to always pay and it is a badge of honor their now DH never let them pay for outings. But that wasn't the majority of DCUM.
