Two weeks in and really struggling

I would consider giving it to the end of the quarter if she's willing and only if she got there on her own, with no test prep etc to bump up her scores. Our kids were in AAP (no prep etc) and I was shocked when one teacher confided that there are a lot of kids whose parents find ways to get them in and it is actually too fast paced for them and it causes undue stress and harm to the child.

It may just be too much for your child. She will probably be fine in her old situation if in your heart you think that it's causing her too much stress. There are always a few that head back to our neighborhood school because they miss it. Usually if they stay for the year at the new school, they don't move though. Now our kids are in HS and the kids are all together again and many taking the same classes and doing great.
