argh I think she was beautiful, but so much better looking before the heavy 60s makeup. I like her when she was younger, not because of her youth, but because the style of the times was more elegant and less creepy (this also reminds me of Priscilla Presley; so much prettier without the clown face)

I love that story she told on this late night show (and it sucks that I can't find it anywhere) but she was talking about expressing her love to Richard Burton for the first time and he had been drinking. So she gets all this lovey dovey declaration out and it looks at her for a moment and says "Pardon me Elizabeth but I have shit my pants." and he turned and walked off leaving her there.

OMFG. All they have to do is stand there in their underwear. She was an award winning actress. Have you seen Suddenly Last Summer? A Place in the Sun? Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

You're an idiot.

Seconded (or thirded?). 10 years from now 90% of the Victoria's secret models will be forgotten.

Found the gay guy!

Yes, yes, you're right. An anonymous ham-boned, horsey teenage "boy" with no hips and tennis balls stuck into some lingerie IS more beautiful than one of the most famously beautiful actresses of all time. OF COURSE HOW DID I MISS IT

She had a wicked sense of humor. I can just picture her delivering this story. Burton used to hit the bottle hard.

how can you even think that PP?

Everything we see today is airbrushed to the point of ridiculousness. Its all fake!

What you see in Liz Taylor is all her, flaws and all and she is STILL gorgeous.

I love La Liz.

and to think she did all that with only one brush and probably no shadow primer as I doubt it existed back then, at least not on the mass market.

Compare that to any YouTube video today and it takes 10 minutes to do a smokey eye, Elizabeth Taylor did it in 2 mins.

I think at the end she's using a Q tip!! Incredible.

Have any of you seen the movie this clip is from, "The Driver's Seat"? It's crazy, I think she tried to keep it from being released.

I got a dvd of it from amazon for like $3. So worth it.
