Ideas for gift for 17 year old girl?

I got DH's 16-year-old cousin personalized stationery and a check. Figured kids that age are forced to send thank-you's and this was something she could use, I could get something somewhat her taste and met my need to give her something special rather than just money. Also easy to ship and I bought online, so not a hassle for me, and if she hated it, well, she didn't have to use it.
