This was the advice I had gotten previously but as soon as I hit 12 weeks I started calling a few places and they said I started way to early and call back within 3 months of needing the care. I guess every place is different! |

Hi -
Not sure if anyone is still reading this thread, but, if so, I would be interested in possibly doing a nanny share. we live in the Arts District in Hyattsville and could host - we could be on your way depending on how you come. We're also due in January, so would be looking to start first week of April or thereabouts. If interested, email me at Alison(dot)roach1980(at)gmail.com Thanks! PS We would probably only be thinking about a nanny share as a stop gap until we can (hopefully) get into a day care. We're on waitlists at St. Jerome's, Heritage, Hopes and Dreams, and a couple of federal places downtown (where I work) but it's not looking super-great at any of them for an April start date : / (including the ones we waitlisted on two weeks after we found out we were pregnant). |
