Great fall camping spots?

Regular weekend or Columbus day weekend? With fall foliage and a long weekend, spots fill up quickly .

How about Green Ridge State park. It's primitive camping.

We liked Loft Mountain, it was a little farther to drive but the nearby waterfall hike to Doyle's Run was better than Dark Hollow. Just be careful you don't get one of the campsites next to a cliff if you are taking little kids. They have great views though.

Oh gosh, thank you for that warning. Are those the walk-in spots or the reserved ones? Yikes!
