Costco. Seem to find decently warm stuff there without the fluff and weight.
Going with goose down is really warm but dry cleaning for kids hair doesn't make sense |
| I got some Champion snow pants at Target a few years ago. They were $15 each and I bought several sizes. They have been great. |
| Moncler |
I grew up in New England, too. And when I outgrew my snowpants and my parents couldn't buy me more, playing in the snow in jeans and legwarmers wasn't as much fun. I got wet and cold and couldn't stay out as long as my friends. My kids will always have snowpants, even living in Virginia. |
| Wait for a 40% off sale at Lands end, llbean or even old navy kids and pull the trigger. |
| Ski swaps |
| My DD has skiied in hand me down snow bibs from target for the last couple of seasons and they've been fine. And we ski 30 days a season. |
Lol, I thought I was upper middle class growing up, but maybe I was poor, because we were ALL out there in jeans. I didn't know anyone who had snow pants. |

| Our school auctions off from the lost and found each year. Got a few dirt cheap ones like $2 |
| I found the best prices on Amazon last year for DS who bought a season pass to snowboard with his best friend's family almost every weekend. |
| OP here. I was at Target over the weekend. My DS likes the Target snow bibs (even though I do not. BUT I am not the one who has to wear them). So, that is what he got. My DD wants the pants this year instead of the bibs (she hates the bulk). She didn't like the Target snow pants, so I'm going to shop around for hers I guess. |
+1. we do the same |
