Check the Strasburg schedule--it's not Thomas every day, just on special days. Otherwise it's a lovely restored train, and I recommend it.

Yes, and that is the absolute worst weekend to go.

We just did the Amish Hoise and Farm and I was disappointed. Nothing too special.
We are doing the train ride after nap. Fingers crossed!

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm (kind of like Cox Farms)
Verdant View farm tours (milk a cow etc.)
There are nice day hikes around there and on the way home, but do your research. We went for a hike that DH looked up on Google maps but I can't recommend it, the creek/forest was pretty but access was a scramble over a railroad embankment and that part of the trail was more like a dusty trench lined with poison ivy and brambles.
