Date night, every Saturday, almost without fail.
We go alone or it's not a "date". We have a cocktail at the bar then get a table for dinner.
The entire night is spent talking about whatever. It builds our relationship and connection.

In the winter, we do puzzles and play each other in fantasy football. In the warmer weather, we go fishing, biking, ATV riding, lots of outdoor activities.

We work close by but commute separately because of drop-offs/pick-ups, so we meet for lunch or coffee regularly.

Meet for happy hour 2xs a month at around 4pm. Have tried all the HH places in the area. HH is the best. Get home early, cheap drinks, and good food at often expensive restaurants.

We project. Yesterday we cleaned then did drapes and bedding for his bedroom. Today we did the landscaping in the front of the house.

We shop every Saturday. Unless it's college football time then the shopping happens on Sundays.

In the winter we go walk the mall and people watch. Lots of cooking and baking.

He eats lunch out daily, I rarely eat out so when he finds a place serving what I might like he takes me there to try the food.

We don't talk to each other at all during the day. No texts, no emails. We talk about our days when he gets home.
