How about that bumper car/race track at the shopping center in Corolla.

The museum is nice, most importantly, it's FREE. The lighthouse is boring. What kid wants to climb those stairs and find it interesting. 10 min max.

Go crabbing off the Duck boardwalk. Pick up (cheap) traps and bait at Bob's Bait Shop right in town and there are a few spots to go. Kayak in the Sound. Play at the beach.

Corolla Adventure park ropes course.

The weather is expected to be bad in OBX (red flags at the beach).

Beach or Duck Donuts is pretty much it.

We took our 6 and 8 yos to the Corolla Adventure Park this summer. So fun!
