5th grade Math Classes at Basis

Not every 5th grader does 7th grade math. There's a placement test and the kids are sorted. As stated above, there are multiple different math classes available to each grade.

My BASIS 7th grader is taking Alg 1 this year. There are a few 7th graders doing pre-calculus this year.

I don't think BASIS takes new 8th graders. If your child is already a student there and is entering 8th grade, I assume there's a sequence where they'll take the next class if they pass the comps and re-take a class if they fail the comps.
