Trip to Paris during mid-April: what's the weather like?

The real advantage of the pass is that it allows you to skip the queues except the security ones. We were there in August, peak tourist season, and walked right pass all the queues and only waited a minute or two at the security screening. I always get the pass when in Paris and am always surprised that more people don't buy them because the time saved in avoiding the queues is well worth the money (if you see 5-6 main museums/sights the pass pays for itself alone).

FYI the Paris Museum Pass is different from the Paris Pass. It can be bundled with the Paris Pass if you want but we don't opt for that.

OP here. I'm thinking 5-6 museums might be a tad too many with the 5yo, but will keep this in mind whenever we get to go back sans kids! We might just hit up the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay, and maybe Notre Dame (unless there are any others that are recommended with a kid in tow).

The Orangerie (assuming yuobdon't have to stand in line) is nice because it's just Monet's water lilies.

I was just checking into the same April trip!

Tickets seemed to be around $800/ticket in April vs. $1800/ticket in August. Paid $1500/ticket several years ago for a June trip.
I've traveled in late June-July and the weather was so lovely. But at the end of our trip, the crowds were really picking up. We had the museum pass, but it still affected our time at major sites and just walking around.

I'm seriously considering trying out the April trip and just bundling up. I think it won't be prohibitively cold, the plane tickets will be far less, and the crowds may be smaller.
