| Pp with 128. That was a Sat am blood draw. My Thurs pm home pregnancy test was a very faint / barely observable line and same thing Fri am. I showed my DH and he agreed it was likely positive but very hard to see / read. |
Np. Some tests are more sensitive. I had a faint BFP (on a FRER), went in next morning for a draw, and my hcg was 16. |
I should add that it was a successful pregnancy. |
it is true. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3341449/ early hcg is as good a predictors of successful pregnancy as age. also, the second measurement adds nothing. read the actual article |
That was specific to IVF pregnancies, where the embryo transfer date is known. That is not applicable in a natural pregnancy where the ovulation date is an estimate. |
The doubling time can tell you a lot. Slow rising betas are a red flag that something is wrong. |
yes, the things is when the initial beta is high, beta usually keeps doubling. |
| Time will tell, OP. Due to a history of ectopic pregnancies I had 10 mIU sensitivity home pregnancy tests and immediately followed any faint positive with blood work. My successful pregnancies were caught around 9-10 DPO and bloodwork showed hcg of about 9-11 for each. |
