Perhaps since you come from another country, English is not your first language and you do not truly know what "animal cruelty" means? Here are examples of animal cruelty:
1. Kicking a dog
2. Shooting a BB gun at a dog
3. Starving a dog
Putting a sweater on a shivering dog is not animal cruelty in any sense of the term.
+1. My dogs have thick coats and enjoy the cold so they don't need anything extra (I get sick of the cold long before they ever would). However, calling it "animal cruelty" when people do put clothing items on their pets? Give me a break.
