My husband even started doing it with me when he saw my progress. I was kind of like you- thin, skinny, but so out of shape. I've done it now for 27 weeks and the difference is crazy. She included pre-conditioning weeks in the first BBG to help acclimate you to working out. They will leave you so sore but you'll be on your way. I can easily do regular sit ups now to the point I don't even bother with them- I do them holding a 25 lb weight. Abs for days!

Wow - how long have you been on the program? How long before you saw or felt results?

I'm on week 27. Did 3 weeks of pre conditioning (because I too could not do a sit up), then 12 weeks of BBG 1.0 and almost done with 12 weeks of 2.0 (so 24 weeks of each program plus 3 weeks of pre conditioning). The thing is you see results REALLY quickly which is partly why I have been able to stick with it for 27 weeks. I would say I noticed results around 4-5 weeks. Others who know me started noticing around 8-9 weeks probably. By summer when I had been doing it for 15 weeks I had people coming up to me at the pool asking what workouts I used. Most noticeable results were in arms and abs. Some lift in my butt and definition in my legs but I am thinking if I want serious definition there i'm going to need to add in heavy weights at the gym. Those muscle groups are too big to seriously develop without heavy weights. BBG is also great because every couple weeks you'll get a circuit you have previously done and you'll realize how much easier it's gotten. When I first started there were circuits I could not complete in the allotted 7 minutes, and by the end I could do them twice through. Each day is two sets of 4 exercises and you do each one twice for 7 minutes each. It helps mentally to to say to yourself "okay only four 7 minute chunks" - makes it feel less daunting.
