| We just bought a lovely used rug for only $100. The cleaning cost twice that (they had a dog) but it was still a deal. |

Also look at the rugs at HomeGoods too.
I've had limited success cleaning my own wool rugs myself. I mean - it's not easy to have space to dry them after all. I hate the carpet machine cleansers (and they don't rinse out) so I mostly just use water. If I bought it I'd just go so if I really loved it and I'd have it sent out to be cleaned. http://www.bergmanns.com/carpet-and-rug-cleaning.html http://parkwaydrycleaning.com/carpet-rug-repair-restoration/ http://www.hadeed.mobi/site/schedule_service.php |
| All our rugs are handknotted 50+ year old oriental rugs, and by definition, they are used. If this is what you're dealing with, and you like the rug, buy it. |
