| I used to call my dh on the way to grab lunch. Now he's my ex-dh and I still call him on the way to lunch because we have two little kids to co-parent and there is always something to discuss. |

| MY DH callsa minimum of me twice a day while at work. He calls at 9:07am to make sure I made in to work okay and kids were fine at drop off. And he calls me as soon as he gets into the car when he gets off work at 3pm. Usually about 3:02 pm. I so look forward to these calls, even when I'm busy. |

What? Neither of you has relationships with friends and/or co-workers that are cultivated over lunch? I get having lunch occasionally but daily seems excessive to the point of being problematic. |

I speak with my DH multiple times during the day if you include FB chats. Often a phone call is in there, too. I couldn't imagine going several hours with no communication on a regular basis. That only happens when one of us is traveling.

I have a coworker whose wife calls several times a day. And if he doesn't answer, she calls back immediately. Then calls his cell. Then his desk again. Until he picks up. |

My parents are like this...
They both work from home, they share one car (but own three), they share the same hobbies and have 30+ years together. My FH travels for work, I join him as much as I can. I think the vulnerability to love someone so deeply is so beautiful. This post made me very happy! |
