I bet he'll get the state of Utah on his side. He's Mormon, conservative and not Trump. |
He is a non- factor. |
I'm watching his Ted talk on genocide and his travels toSyria. Interesting topic, but not an engaging speaker IMO. |
I disagree. He may affect the news cycles. Trump is staying on message and trying to tone it down. Now the Olympics and an attack from the right may hurt his positive exposure. Plus maybe he'll troll Trump and be a catalyst to his next big tantrum that pushes all but Trumps most ardent supporters away. He won't win the Presidency but he will be a factor. |
Mormons really, really hate Trump. As a persecuted religious minority, they are serious about freedom of religion , plus Trump is anathema to Mormon family values. New Dan Jones poll: he's leading in Utah but with only 37%, Hillary has 25%, Johnson has 16% (his best state), Stein 1%. The other 14% are writing in Mitt Romney! |
His goal is to take enough votes away from Trump and HRC that neither gets the 270 electoral votes needed to become president. The House of Representatives would then choose from the three candidates with the most electoral votes.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz just pulled his support for Trump. It will be interesting to see how many others follow suit. |
