Tightlining - when did this become a thing?

Tightlining is basically invisible. Most people don't aim for that.

What is it that Oliva Benson on SVU does? I don't like the look, eyeliner all wrapped around her eye. I think it makes her eyes look much smaller and like she is squinting.

I read a blurb about it in Cosmo over ten years ago - when I was still a teen. Started doing it then.

Yes, water and tightlining are different. Tightlining, iirc, is within the past five to ten years.

they are, I'm just saying that I was aware of waterlining but not tightlining, and learned on my upper lashes. Also, on me, its hard to tight line my bottom lashes without doing a bit of waterlining because my lashes kind of are that close to it.
