How young are the kids? I have seen 5 year old's on the ski slopes (since you mentioned you want to ski but feel the kids are too young).

We are a ski family. Dh abd i started teaching the kids started at 3/3.5.

Even if you did contract the virus....I think it can be treated successfully.

The only real danger is to an unborn child.

Everyone else should be okay.

Err on the side of caution however by wearing a good insect repellent.

As long as the OP stays away from water she should be okay.

In actuality, your chances of being attacked by an alligator are very very low.

Exactly. I get bit on my porch but not once at Disney. Been there 6x.

Very few mosquitoes in the Orlando area in December. It's too cool at night and not rainy enough.

I don't think Disney will allow an alligator within 20 miles of their property for the next 100 years.
