Do you ever hide in the bathroom?

no. It's hopeless. They find me everywhere.

I have sat in my car in front of my house when I got home before the babysitter was supposed to end. For up to 20 minutes.

If DH is home with DD I make up an excuse to make a "quick" run to the grocery store. It's funny on every "quick" run I always end up with an item that won't scan, or a long line, miss all the lights, etc.

Yes, I try but they find me anyway.

I would but the dog can open the door.

Husband does all the time, especially during Prime Time (when the young kids are up, 7-7pm). Goes in there, reads the news on his iPhone and tells us he is doing his Very Important Work.

He may as well just not be in the house.

all the time. If my kids are whining or throwing a fit, I turn the fan on so i can' hear them. I have actually found that they calm down more quickly If I do this because they see they are getting no response from me no matter how much they whine.

I do this as well, but Target with the Starbucks inside. I'm always amazed how much time I can spend walking around there with Starbucks in hand. One of the cashiers knows me by name now, and frequently tells me to take my time driving home when she sees me alone (she's also seen me in there with my three boys in tow).
