Best bathing suit to hide tummy

Another one here with the Lands End suit. It sucks it all in. And they have sizes that come in Long for those of us with long torsos.

La Blanca is amazing! You can get them at nordstroms. The tankinis hide my pooch best

I've never paid $150+ for a bathing suit and am curious about others' experiences with Miraclesuit and other brands that claim to make you look 10 lbs. slimmer.

With three little kids my time to shop is limited and I'll probably be doing it online - are there other specific brands that I should look for? Other than ruching are there other styles that are particularly good at hiding the belly? I realize the my days of prancing around in a two piece are behind me (at least for now), but I'd rather avoid the matronly prints that so many of these suits have. I'd also love to buy a suit that is not black. TIA for any advice!

I find the sucky-in swimsuit to be uncomfortable and not worth the hassle. I think the key to making it not look frumpy is a really cute print and a lower neckline than most of the MiracleSuits.

I generally go for suits like this and find I'm comfortable camoflauged and still feel cute enough.

Pretty sure that someone who's concerned about her tummy isn't going to choose to wear a bathing suit cut down to her navel...

"mom pooch" is generally below the navel. the bathing suit covers the navel. if she's only worried about a bit of belly, the suit is fine.

Is this what you meant by hiding your tummy, OP?

I love that suit.

These are the shorts: http://www.landsend.com/products/womens-beach-living-control-swim-shorts/id_191498?sku_0=::BLA

And the top (loose around the stomach area): http://www.landsend.com/pp/StylePage-464753_AK.html

NO SHORTS!!

Why not? These are form-fitting, almost like yoga pants but in short shorts form. They're surprisingly flattering and comfortable.

Not with a mothers apron. The shorts will cut under the apron and then end on the leg -- drawing attention to the apron.

I'd go with something like this: http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/swim-solutions-plus-size-geo-print-swimdress?ID=2661074&CategoryID=8699&LinkType=&selectedSize=#fn=SWIM_STYLE%3DOne Piece%26sp%3D4%26spc%3D245%26ruleId%3D65|BS|BA%26slotId%3D194

Ah, ok. I was thinking just a little extra around the tummy, not a mothers apron.

I wear the Lands End tunic notch neck rash guard with a regular bra underneath and plain high waist bottoms or a swim mini, and I feel great (plus less sunscreen to apply). I have huge boobs (34H) and I've never found a regular swimsuit top that'll support me comfortably.

I wear a Miraclesuit and am very satisfied. It is emerald green and has a small notch between the breasts.

I will note, though, that I actually swim. A lot. I find the suit very functional while covering the worst flaws between the time I take off my coverup and traipse over to the pool. I can't imagine wearing a tankini for serious swimming.

One with a skirt around the waist..?

I have a rather large mummy tummy/mother's apron. It really sucks, I'm 5'7" and weigh 140, but all my fat is on my stomach - so much so that sometime people think I'm pregnant. I've tried so many bathing suits, and this one is awesome at hiding the tummy:

They also have a lot of other suits similar in style that would probably be great too.
