BPA-free, dishwasher-safe, no-leaking sippy cups

Love the playtext line as well...they don't leak and are BPA free.

Have the Playtex sippys always been BPA free? I see the exact same ones I have now being called BPA free but it did not say this when I bought them several months ago...

Born Free leak & are a pain in the butt (too many parts). We have had a lot of luck with the Playtex First Sipster (with handles). We also have the next "size" up w/o the handles but haven't used them too often. I suspect they'll be great too. They are available everywhere (eg. CVS) and are pretty cheap I think.

Think Baby is the brand I have. bought them at amazon but they sell at BBBaby.

Searching the archives and so reviving this thread.

Our DD is breastfed and receives bottles of EBM during the day while I'm at work. She is almost 6mos and when we start solids next month we also want to begin introducing a cup. Two questions:

1. We want to use a straw-sippy, rather than straight-sippy. The only ones I've seen are like 10 and 12oz. I love the list above but haven't sorted through it. Can anyone recommend a BPA free straw-sippy that is baby rather than toddler-sized?

2. Once you introduced the cup, at what point did you transition your baby away from bottles (of BM or formula) to receiving liquids during the day only via cup (I'm assuming that at night parents are either nursing or using a bottle at bedtime)?

thanks!

Agreed.

We have been using the playtex ones for a LONG time. They don't leak and we put them in the dishwasher daily. BPA free too!! Inexpensive from Target or Walmart, and easily replaceable.
