Her first video was obviously dramatic. This is not who she is. It was a video. The second picture you posted was her showing her love for cats. She still likes cats do I don't think she's ever changed that. So she hangs out with her friends? She's not dressed as provocative as you would think. She has quite a bit of friends and if she was truly horrible I don't think she would still have so many friends. I think she is classier and less trashy than Katy Perry or most. Lighten up op and find a different hobby. |

She is incredibly successful and hard working. So what if she is ruthless in some ways? No one blames ambitious men for their success or calls them disingenuous. She's not really my cup of tea but I get why my DD and her friends like her.
That being said - her narrative of the awkward outsider, country singer turned sensation is completely calculated and fabricated. I think she is pretty obviously straight. She would have no reason to stay in the closet. Karlie Kloss also has a long term boyfriend.
I do think she is disingenuous and I do not like how she portrays herself as the innocent, nerdy, uncool outsider who has no friends and is always treated badly by men. She has an international posse of glamorous supermodel girlfriends. She has dated some of the hottest and most popular guys in Hollywood. She also, isn't the "sweet virginal goodgirl" she portrayed herself to be in her early work where she would shame other women in her lyrics and videos for "stealing" her guys or sleeping with them. She is now the "bad girl" she built her career singing about. I am also offended by her loosely throwing around the term "feminist" and applying it to herself and her brand. It is very inaccurate. Again, she built her career on singing lovelorn songs about boys, throwing other women under the bus for their sexual activities and now she claims to be a feminist?? Even in her current reincarnation, she produced the awful "Bad Blood" video where she uses her army of model girlfriends to intimidate her other female enemies. Throwing women against each other? W.T.F? She is so petty and immature. She is wicked smart and comes from major money. So she is untouchable. |

I think she is a physically very ugly girl who surrounds her self with beautiful people hoping it will rub off / she will become beautiful. But she just isn't.
