I got a little bath time duck with a thermometer to use with my baby and used it for my own baths before she was born. That way I knew they were below 100.
Heating pad for that aching back!!! I used mine every day until I went into labor... Also, get as many prenatal massages as you can afford.
You'll make it!! The uncomfortableness is natures way of making you WANT to go into labor lol. But seruously, it's a bitch but it will be over soon. Fwiw, I got some relief from compression tights and socks.

My back pain kicked in around that time and it was horrific. I ended up seeing a chiropractor specializing in prenatal and doing prenatal massage. I think that for a couple of weeks I got adjusted 3x a week and massage 2x and then could do weekly massage and adjustments because my pain had gone away. It made a HUGE difference.

Schedule yourself a prenatal massage for this weekend!
Take baths. Use epsom salts in the bath to help your muscles relax. And slow slow down if you haven't already. Make some goals--happy one and practical ones. Like, every Friday, DH and I will get ice cream at our favorite place. Schedule some dates, schedule the major tasks yet to get done (which DH will do while you rest). You can do this! |
23:47, that's interesting- my BP is usually 90s/60s, last time it was 117 or 120, I can't remember. I'll keep an eye on it. And I'll schedule a prenatal massage! Thanks everyone-
