Postpartum belly

I'm one week PP and my stomach is almost flat, though I'm still 15 lbs above my pre-pregnancy weight. I think there's a wide spectrum of normal timelines for this.

Define flat? Where is the weight?

Not PP, but I'm similar. If she's like me, the weight is in her boobs & butt.

It's flat first thing in morning and has a tiny bit of pooch I eat or drink anything. I think with another week or two it will be back to normal. My breasts have gone from a C cup to an EE, and my hips and thighs are still a little thicker than normal, plus I'm still draining fluids. I assume those things account for the weight.

I was like this too. Weight was in my hips and thighs, a little in the boobs (happened for second and third kids, I think bc they were much more vigorous nursers than my first, who was super sleepy).

4 months pp and same. Exercising daily and eating well but hanging on to those ten pounds entirely in my hips and boobs. Stomach is flat as before though! Definitely different timelines for different people, and I know a lot who didn't lose te last little bit until they weaned. I am hoping to be in that category....

Yeah, maybe went from looking 6 months pregnant to 3-4 months. Definitely a notable difference but far from normal.

Outside of a flabby stomach with a bit of excess skin, two weeks postpartum was the best I've ever looked!
