We pay teens $10 an hour for babysitting our 4 kids - although the kids are usually asleep.
When I hire teens for them to help run a 2 hr bday party, I pay $30 for the party bc its a lot more work. |

| Thanks for all the responses. This is in western Fairfax. We would need about an hour after school and possibly date nights. Based on the responses, I'm thinking $12/hour. I'll also ask if the sitter has a rate in mind. |

| Ask the sitter, but I pay my 24 year old sitter $14/hour in cash and she is perfectly happy with that. Two kids is easier than 1 and definitely does not merit more. |
