When will parents get results from 2016 PARCC testing

Why do you care about PARCC results?

Do you understand what PARCC actually is?

Another data point I can use to supplement my child's P's.

Getting a 4 or 5 will likely be required for HS graduation (per Maryland State Board). It could begin as early as next year. Yes, I care. My kid is probably older than yours.

You know that kids can see their own MAP scores right? They pop up at the end. My kids have been comparing with others since the first year they took them (I think it is second or third). And the teachers can access them immediately.

So most kids won't graduate? That seems unlikely.

My son tells me his scores every time he takes the MAP. Maybe other kids just have bad memories b/c none of them seem to remember them.

Sometimes the score feature on MAP is turned off or malfunctions.

Usually the teacher that pulls my son for testing doesn't allow him to click to the final page, preventing him from viewing his score. However, this last time she did it by accident.

For one reason or another, his school doesn't want them seeing the scores.

I agree it seems unlikely, but I can only tell you what the requirements will be when they are implemented.
