Is it ok to take child for a night without dhs "permission " ?

Actually, there is spousal kidnapping -- it could be considered that if you take the kid and he reports it. But, if violence is involved (from him), he will be in a boat load of hurt. Best thing to do is to consult a lawyer.

Dpnt know where you reside, but from what little you have described he has committed simple assault under the family violence act in my state. You loosely describe being in reasonable apprehension of receiving bodily injury.

You need to be the one to get the ball rolling and call LE to document the incident, at a minimum. Also, your writing gives me the impression that you are a victim of domestic abuse.

Break tne cycle, if it exisits, now. Not later. Now.

Basis for my statements: 21 years of arresting, prosecuting, and sending abusers to jail/ prison.
