What do you think?

So one of my friends told me there's no progesterone in an IVF retrieval cycle b/c they suck out the corpus luteum, and a period is caused by progesterone withdrawal bleed. so I am confused

Have you called your nurse or Dr? What did they say?
There must have been a lining growing (even if it was thin) during your stim cycle, so it has to shed and come out, stay patient.

Lining was thick bc estrogen was around 3000

They said up to 14 days, but I thought that with follicles removed and no progesterone its sooner

Will 2 extra days be material for anything in your case? If no, I wouldn't focus on worrying about it.

No, not material, only if there's a chance I won't get it at all, I guess.

Welcome to the world of assisted reproduction... everything is waiting. And if you're successful there is even more waiting: between ultrasounds, for test results, for the other shoe to drop. I truly don't know when it gets better - I havent gotten that far yet...
