My 9-year-old does this and I just thought it was a quirk of childhood or an overactive imagination / creative brain. We suspect he has ADHD as it runs in the family. Should I be concerned?

| Yes, check for seizures. We thought my ADHD son was just fussy in the night or having nightmares he has seizures, which explain the severity of his ADHD. |
