Need Recommendation for Neuropsych evaluation

Went to Children's for Neuropsych in Rockville. Easy process that they walk you through on the phone and they were able to schedule an appointment within 2 weeks of my calling. They will even check insurance on your behalf. Didn't get to request a particular provider, but was very happy w/Dr. Arianna Martin. She was very thorough and spent time with me and my DD throughout the day-long testing. She was able to go over the results a few weeks later even though the formal report had not be completed. One concern was that the report was not delivered when promised so you may have to follow-up. The report itself was detailed and can be used in support of an IEP for the next 2-3 years. Overall, I was satisfied with the Children's and would highly recommend.

I called Center for Autism and asked for evaluation. Yes, for ADHD.
First, you need to talk to coordinator. Then you fill out the forms. The last part is like 5-6 appointments, but 2 of them just parents.
We waited for 6 months or so, but it was virtually free.
You don't have to stay with them. There are other doctors that can treat and give you Rx. You can also switch doctors within Children's. Now we going to see a therapist there. Saves us a LOAD of money. DC like the therapist a lot.
I saw a lot of discussions on whom to request for eval. at this forum.
Good luck!!

Same experience here - quick, painless, covered by insurance (they did the billing, easy), written report within a month. We had Dr. Burns - it was one long day of testing (9-3) and a follow-up for about two hours to go over findings.
