Are all girl schools still valued? Vs years ago?

Yes, seriously. its pretty well known that it's down right trendy for girls at all female colleges to engage in same sex sexual experimentation. Yes, this happens at coed schools as well, but it's almost a guarantee at certain all female colleges. I'm assuming there are a lot of parents who would rather not send their daughter to college in that type of environment.

We are talking about high school here, and most of them are day schools.

I attended an all women's college years ago and it provided me with a level of confidence that I don't think I could have received at a co-ed school. An added benefit is that I have never accepted a lower salary than my male peers. In fact, I have been routinely paid more than my peers both male and female throughout my 20 plus year career. It never occurred to me to accept less.

As a woman who dates women and went to a women's college in the recent past, there's far less "experimentation" than you're assuming.

There's less closeting--if you're inclined to date women, you're not inclined to hide it--but my unscientific poll of friends from high school showed roughly the same seeming percentages across the board.

In the years since graduation, some folks have shifted the gender of people they've ended up with (in both directions), but it was no hotbed of experimentation. Or maybe I went to the wrong parties...

About what? The assertion that there's more same sex experimentation at female colleges, or the notion that parents might not be thrilled about their daughters engaging in such activities?

It sounds like the type of crowd you hung out with might have something to do with what led you to be a woman who dates women.

PP is getting his/her information from a "documentary" they saw on Skinemax.

Not PP, but thanks for confirming that you're a troll who wandered over from the Political Discussion forum.

What a weird comment. Have you ever been to an all-women's college??
I'm not PP, but I also went to an all women's college, and had a very similar experience w/r/t women who attended and who they dated/"experimented" with during and after college. Some did, some didn't. No more or less than my friends at other colleges. I never had any interest in experimenting with or dating women during or after college. There was certainly no pressure to do so. And I'm now happily married to a MAN.

Which one, if I may ask, and what level? (High school?) And has she always gone to all-girls schools?
