Soccer: CCL vs NCSL

How though if you are a team that is blowing everyone out? Where is the competition? Kids need challenge to get better as players.

Worry more about the coaching than the league your kid is in.

People should worry about both.

I worry about having to drive to VA Beach for a single game and the competition they are playing against. There are enough good teams in NoVA, MoCo that driving 3-4 hours for a single game is plain stupid. Also, players should be tuning out the coaches and playing their own game, making their own decisions. The coach's role during the game should be coaching players on the bench, not micromanaging players on the field. They need to develop and make decisions for themselves. That goes for the parents yelling 'pass' and 'switch field' every 5 seconds. Shut the hell up. No direction please--especially to other people's kids!!!

You can have a great coach, but if the kid never plays against anybody faster and better--he/she isn't going to get any better. Period.

I'm convinced ccl has the clubs best interest (no transfers, etc) in mind, not the players.

Only one thing you said was relevant to the league as a choice. The rest is just a rant that bares no relevance to the question at hand. Based on lifestyle for you the choice is simple, don't have your kid play in CCL.
