They tell us to be involved with our kids' education, but never give any planning time. As for working parents - forget us! All events are now during the daytime. If I didn't work part- time as a physician in a field that is family friendly, i would never get to attend any of DD's school events.

Both the scores and the admission letters are or were before the deadline/orientation. If more events were in the evening, stay at home parents would complain.
