OP here. So this!!! Anytime I get a call with niceties I feel like cutting to the chase because believe me, there is always a motive.

When my sister calls I pick up and say what do you want ? She only calls me when she needs money, to complain about not having any money or cry because she has no money.

I last heard from her at Christmas because she had no money for Christmas. She and her husband both work full time jobs but never have any money. No kids, no excuse. She can't handle her finances and neither can her husband. Not my problem.

It gets old really quick. She says she doesn't do email, she does Facebook, I don't, she only calls every 6 to 7 months. Then she's rude to me.

I cut her loose as my new year resolution. I don't need all that garbage.
