He can't even fake being an emcee at the miss universe. |

IMO, Steve's comedy is fake and forced when he's interacting with white people. It's especially noticeable on the Feud.
When there are black contestants, he's much more relaxed and comfortable. Not really sure why. Well, I do but don't really want to say. |
I bet he has bad breath. |
I agree. I much prefer the old 90s Steve Harvey to his current cross over self. |
| I cant stand him either, his jokes are forced and not funny. Doesnt come across as genuine. |
| Awful. And his book Act like a lady, think like a man was bad. I thought it was really sexist advice. |
His whole persona is built on this. If I temporarily block out "who" he is, sometimes I find him funny, especially on Family Feud, but lord he disgusts me otherwise. |
| He's growing on me. I watched his new show, Little Big Shots, and his interaction with children was making me LOL. |
|
Well....you have an option to turn the TV channel, turn the radio station, not see the movie, not buy the suit, and/or put down the book. If you don't care of him, take your pick.
See how that works? |
| I like him a lot. He's been through a lot. |
| He is the reason I give the side eye to people who are loud and proud about Christianity. He's the worst kind of ignorant idiot-an idiot who doesn't know what he doesn't know. And also gives his professed religion a bad name. The teeth make me think "stank breath" and the ms universe eff up is just exactly who he is. |
|
I have only seen him as a Family Feud host and think he does an excellent job in that gig.
He's funny & compassionate on that program. I haven't seen him on anything else though..... |

I agree. First, from a superficial point of view - his mustache bugs the hell out of me, plus his giant oversized suits and that annoying shouting while mumbling voice. Just awful. How someone with that kind of voice can make it in the entertainment industry is just a mystery to me. Seriously, he reminds me of Mr. Potato Head, if Mr. Potato Head had an unsophisticated, loud country bumpkin cousin.
Next, his bigoted views regarding atheists. Mr. Harvey should read his Old Testament and maybe rethink his "moral barometer" statement (also, I think he meant moral compass, but whatevs). The Old Testament, itself the supposed word of god, considered wearing polyblends, sowing multiple crops in the same field, working on Sabbath, touching pig skin (is Mr Harvey a football fan?), eating pork or shellfish ALL abominations. However, stoning women for adultery, owning slaves and selling your daughter into slavery was A-OK. So, um, which moral compass are we to follow here ? I know a lot of Christians who reject the Old Testament, but then that would put in question the sanctity of some or all of what is written in the Bible. Is the Bible the word of god or not - is one allowed to cherry pick passages to suit his or her agenda ? Anyway, to get back on track, I put more trust into an atheist who has carefully considered his or her beliefs within a 21st century context , than a person who blindly follows precepts from an Iron Age culture who believed slavery and stoning persons were totes Ok. |
I love Steve Harvey. He reminds me of a comedian back when I was growing up in India. His shows are my instant remedy when I am in a bad mood or having a hard day. He may not say politically correct things but that's the draw for me.

Steve's target audience: a$$holes who enjoy being that way. |
