Portland Maine (and Maine winters)

| I'm from Maine & grew up several hours north of Portland. My parents are still there. Maine is awesome & Portland is a great city. It is diverse, has a great food scene, the arts (theatre, art, music). Summer is fantastic. Winter is, well, winter! Cold, long & dark. But it doesn't keep people in or slow them down. Mainers are tough and I guess so are the transplants who came & stay ... especially through the winters! Go for it! |
