I have two friends who do this - they're both really outgoing outside of the theater, so I think it is hard for them to be quiet that long when they want to fill me in on something "good."

My 50 yr old white husband does this all the time. When we first were dating I managed to get him to stop doing it in movies but he still does it at home. Without the TV pause/rewind button, we'd probably never have gotten married! And now I talk during the shows almost as much as he does.
