Has anyone used Dr David Black in IEP meetings and in Due Process Hearings?

I'm a happy customer, but we used him a couple years ago. We were planning on going back to him next year, for our 3 year re-evaluation, so thanks for telling me specific things to ask about.

20:49 again. We did the neuropsych testing in Dec '14 and our reevaluation meeting to renew the IEP was in March '15. We were very happy with Dr Black bc around this time, DS was about to get kicked out of public school and get public funding for private SN school without having to go through due process. Yes, things were that bad.

Everything got 1000% better after seeing Dr Black so that probably affects how I look at things. Dr. Black referred us to a psychiatrist who we love and DS is doing really great in all areas, better than we could have ever imagined a yr ago. Not everything is due to seeing Dr Black but seeing him got us out of the big dark hole we were in so I am very grateful.

I'm a relatively new customer and could not be more pleased with him and his practice. My child was first diagnosed almost 5 years ago, at a young age. Since then she's been evaluated by more professionals than I can count, including by a number that DCUM regularly praises.

Without question Dr Black has been the most informative. His reporting is the most in depth and nuanced of any we've received. Moreover his ability to explain complex diagnostic measurements to lay-folk is impressive. While we mostly worked with Dr Black, his assistant was also amazingly impressive (and had a PhD, so was hardly lacking in qualifications).

We recommend his practice without any hesitations. We'll definitely be returning.
