Sushi

I eat sushi about every 3 weeks, and I ate it throughout my pregnancy. I am a believer in the happy mommy, happy baby theory and sushi makes me happy. FWIW, DS is a happy, healthy baby. That said, I did avoid hihg-mercury fish and always ate at the same place where I was very comfortable with the quality and cleanliness and had never had a problem.

I ate cooked sushi pretty often during my pregnancy -- not so much that I worried about mercury levels, but more than a couple of times. No problems. (I also drank some caffeine, ate tuna melts once a week in the third trimester, ate deli meat, etc.)
