Single sex school

Our DD transitioned from public co-ed to an all-girls school between eighth grade and ninth grade. She loves it, and we love it as well. I wish we had transitioned her over at the beginning of middle school. I agree with an earlier poster that the middle school years are probably when girls benefit the most from being in a single-sex environment.

HUGE fan of all girls. My DD went to co-ed private preschool thru third grade and we moved her to all girls in 4th. I am amazed by how strong the positive impact is on my developing daughter. She did well in co-ed but all girls is just that much better. She is at Holton and I can't say enough about the girls and the school. We love it!
