Right. Like there aren't any existing negative stereotypes about private schools! Where do these morons come from? Ugh.

Really? What about School for Rock? When my son applied from public to private for Grade 7, he kept saying, "This is nuts, someone should make a movie about it, someone should make a movie about it, what about little kids, how they choose one over the other, isn't it about who the parents are, etc." Needless to say, we're going to rent and watch this one!

I saw the documentary last night. I did not understand how the "Ephiphany School" was chosen over the "Big 3" schools like Chelsea, 92nd and Y or Mandell. Clearly a "spin doctor" at work to make that school move up in the ranks !!!!!!!

I enjoyed this movie (and am so incredibly thankful I live in the 'burbs and send my kid to a preschool that doesn't require a meeting with the child prior to accepting them). I can't imagine the stress of raising a kid in downtown Manhattan anyway, and that coupled with the whole preschool thing. Anyway, I thought the movie had a very satisfying ending.

It depressed me. Poor parents. All of them. For all the crazy talk here, it's got nothing on NYC.
